The perfect strawberry smoothie for Spring.

We don't know about you, but Spring starts getting us into the mood for some good smoothies. Perfect for a healthy and refreshing breakfast, an afternoon snack, or even a dessert–a nice fruit smoothie can boost your energy and certainly be a lot more guilt-free than starting your day with a pre-packaged muffin. The best part is how perfectly BeLeaf can be included with minimal effort! Now you're getting something packed with nutrients and your daily CBD all in one go.

There are plenty of options for smoothies; you can use only fruit, mix in some greens, or make it more veggie-forward. In the spirit of Spring kicking off, we decided to make something using some in-season fruit for something extra tasty and bright. Strawberries are the perfect spring fruit, and they pair wonderfully with kiwi, which is also ready for picking in early Spring. This smoothie is full of vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber. Adding our Full-Spectrum CBD oil really packs this smoothie with lots of good things for your body. So here is our Strawberry Kiwi smoothie with BeLeaf!

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  1. 1 peeled and chopped Kiwi Fruit

  2. 1 Cup of Strawberries

  3. 1/2 A Banana

  4. 1/8th cup Yogurt (replace with full-fat coconut milk for a Vegan option)

  5. 1/2 a Tablespoon of Honey

  6. BeLeaf Full Spectrum CBD (We suggest our 1500mg)

  7. Ice

Steps:

Prepare your kiwi by cutting it in half and scooping the fruit out of the skin. Wash and rough chop your strawberries, and cut up the banana.

Drop all the fruit into a blender with the yogurt, honey, and ice. If you're using any frozen fruit rather than all fresh, you can skip the ice and thin out the smoothie with a bit of water.

Blend on low to start and increase speed until everything is blended well. Then add your usual BeLeaf Full-Spectrum CBD Oil dosage and blend again on low to mix throughout.

Pour, sip, and enjoy!

If you enjoy this, you can use this base recipe to experiment with many different add-ins or replacements. You can use lime instead of the kiwi or add some leafy greens for extra nutrients. You can also prepare this in a bigger batch if you plan to drink one every morning for the next few days.
