What is My CBD Dose?
We’re often asked about how to take CBD and how much should be taken. Like many dietary supplements, There are a lot of factors when talking about how much CBD is right for you. As a few examples; your weight, metabolism, genetics, and of course your desired results all can affect the answer of how much CBD you should have in your regimen.
Of course, the strength of the product changes the answer as well! So while we can’t give you a perfect answer in this blog we will try to answer the question as best as possible with a method that can help you find your preferred dosage.
“But, how will I know it is working?”
This is always the second question, so before we get into talking about your dose we should address this important question first.
The most important thing to remember is for CBD, and any supplement, to work you need to stay consistent and the dose controlled. Missing days or changing your dose constantly can make this a difficult process–your body won’t get used to the CBD and you’ll be less likely to notice any change when it is so sporadic.
Before starting the regimen take note of how you feel on that specific day and pay close attention to how you feel each day as you begin. Literally, take notes–it helps! It can be very handy when starting anything new involving your body to keep a quick log–write down how much you took and how you feel each day and after each dose. By doing so you will not only find how much is your sweet spot but maybe even that you have a more pronounced effect in the evening rather than in the morning.
Don’t forget to check the label!
We’ll be using our flagship 1500mg as an example, but we also sell a lower 750mg bottle. If you’re coming from another brand they may have a 500mg bottle or even lower. Making sure you aren’t getting a smaller dose even though it seems like you’re taking more is important. The average adult notices effects at 25mg to 50mg so that could be a whole dropper or half a dropper depending on the total amount of CBD in the bottle.
Finding that perfect dosage:
The above graphic is our suggested method for easing yourself into taking CBD every day and finding the dose that works best. If you get to the second step and are really noticing a difference you’ve likely found the right amount for you–but If you’re unsure, go to the next step and see how that feels for a few days. It will take a few days for each step to notice any changes and you should go through a whole bottle, or around 30 days, before making a decision.
